Sting was/is in the band called The Police. This person is saying the only competent police is the band, not actual police officers.
Not necessarily. It’s a Venn diagram. It just means that competent police include sting. I’m sure that there’s other competent cops in there too.

They should have Titled the chart “When POLICE are…” and just put “Competent” in the blue circle. That way the joke would have sucked less.

Technically he called Walker, Texas Ranger, stupid, not Chuck Norris. Chuck was just playing a role. He is, after all, a dramatic, comedic, martial arts, and in all other ways genius.
I’m curious if the poster is referring to the character’s intelligence or calling the show stupid. I don’t recall the main character being unintelligent.

But….Walker wasn’t stupid. Walker was the best show on at the time. The only one me, my parents, sisters, and nieces and nephews could all watch without problems.

He wasn’t calling the show stupid. He was implying that the character of Walker was not the brightest crayon in the box.

Dirty Harry wasn’t careless… he never shot anybody who didn’t have it coming. Harry was Violent and Competent.
Reckless, perhaps, but that’s different than careless. Careless implies you just fire your weapon randomly. Reckless involves tearing through the streets of San Francisco to escape an exploding RC car. God that movie was awesome. Clint Eastwood, Liam Neeson, and Jim Carrey. If it had Sean Connery, that would perhaps be the best collection ever.
