Interesting and true story,

I knew a fellow that drove a van for the phone company. People use to drive past him recklessly yelling and screaming profanities and they would constantly cut him off showing him “the bird”.

OMG, could you take this ay more personally? The graph doesn’t say ALL van drivers are percieved as rapists. If you feel that you are not perceived a rapist for driving a van, then you obviously fall in to one of the other categories. or a completley new one, “Lame-people-with-no-sense-of-humor- who-will-never-learn-that-life-would-be-so-much-more-enjoyable-if-they-just- lightened-up-and-didn’t-take-everything-as-a-personal-affront-to-them.” That’s how I am going to percieve all van drivers from now on, so thank you for that.

My dad has a cargo van with no side windows (aside from driver and passenger, obviously), and my friends and I jokingly refer to it as “the molester van” or “the rapemobile”.

For all the oversensitive people who take offense, the reads “What you look like in a van”, not “percentage of people who own vans are…”

Hell, I’ve had nightmares about rapists with the same van my dad has. It doesn’t make my dad a rapist. It just so happens that vans are the easiest vehicles in which to rape, because they’re relative nondescript and mostly windowless.

This graph is obviously NOT talking about mini-vans as there are all windows and only make you look like a soccer mom/dad, but the cargo vans that only have front and maybe a back window that are made for businesses that need to carry a lot of things to at job, like repair and delivery people.
