Or what they see on TV, or because they saw it in a toy store and they want things immediately or any of the infinite reasons kids want things. An oversimplification is rather contrived to produce a graph that is, by this point in time, rather cliche.

Not really. I have a 6-year-old brother and his need for toys comes from:

- He thinks it’s fun (small slice)
- Other kids have it (large slice)

These n00bs just don’t get it.
1st FAIL – because it consist of the overdone “one small slice” and “one big slice” graph format.
2nd FAIL – “to smash aimlessly” can be included in the “to provide entertainment” subset, otherwise why would kids smash things if it doesn’t provide entertainment for them. Therefore a venn diagram would be more suitable.
