lol, cats have a sence for how allergic you are against them AND they are sadistic
However I don’t think that the cat will sleep ON your face if your’re very allergic ageinst them. I rather say you wouldn’t HAVE a cat if you’re this allergic.

The cat would probably jump off when you started sneezing, or else you would throw the cat off.
Also, I’ve never had a cat sleep on my face. (I’m not allergic either)

actually, I’m on of those people. I didn’t know I even had cat allergies until I went off to school and came back. I thought all that sneezing was from dust, and that it was normal for my eyes to burn and itch once i a while… not kidding… I knew it had to be the pets. Then I went out and got another cat anyway. I hope to get into vet school in the next couple of years, so I don’t know what I’m going to do about this… After all this school it’d be really hard to go back and start over.
look into seeing an immunologist. some are able to treat allergies.

i’ve had a cat for almost 15 years and just found out a few months ago that i’m actually allergic… it happens. and he loves to sleep next to me at any opportunity.
it’s also possible to suddenly develop an allergy to something after many years.

Hey my cat did that! I’m allergic, and she’d sleep on my face. But for some reason I didn’t react to her like I did to most cats, so I didn’t completely want to rip out my eyes, just a little.

Hey guys, lol, I just wanted to respond to all the discussion to the effect of “what? you have a cat and you’re allergic to cats? wtf?!” Haha, I’ve always wanted a cat but I could never have one growing up, because we lived in apartments that wouldn’t allow them. So when we moved into a house that we owned rather than renting, my mom got me a cat for my 17th birthday, and I was so thrilled I didn’t even care that I was totally allergic to cats. Lol, if you love something enough, you’ll…um…invest in lint rollers and Allegra prescriptions.

graph was backwards. allergic-ness should have been on the x axis, while the cat’s proximity or the cat’s probability it will sleep right next to you or something should be on the y.
