Paramore and Evanescence are different genres anyway though P Paramore are emo/pop punk while Evanescence… well they aren’t really anything. They’ve covered everything from alt. rock to electronica to gothic rock to nu metal. :’)

Screamo and Heavy Metal are completely different genres though.
Heavy Metal was the original music of bands like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, etc.
Screamo is basically a more “Harcore punk” version of emo.
Once again, Metal and Screamo are completely different.

Awesome bands! They’re the ones I have :’) Most of my iPod is filled with Heavy Metal, Nu Metal, Black Metal, Gothic Metal and Gothic Rock.
I don’t have any emo/pop punk/screamo stuff though.

I personally like from rock to almost black metal but I have to say my favorites are Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, SOAD, Red hot chilli peppers, even if they are considered by some people funk rock, Nirvana that I know Its grunge but still I like It. Apocalyptica, Deftones, Rammstein, Britney…just kidding and of course my favorite of the classics Led Zep…. oh and forgot Cradle of Filth AND Lamb of God.

Its more true for elementary school girls than middle school. Im in 8th grade and HATE the Jonas brothers, hannah montana, AND hsm. I listen to Skillet, Rob Zombie, Metallica, Paramore, ans Shinedown. Maybe disney should stop trying to convince everyone theyre actors can sing, when they so obviously cant.
