As a TA I would say that the total of the percentage for things related to actually asking questions on the course material should add up to about 15%, and the rest should be 40% making up quizzes people missed because they were ‘sick’, 30% asking for points back on some exam question because my grading was too ‘strict’ (even though really I probably should have given them less), and 15% asking what they can do to not fail (I guess they go to the Prof. more for this).

  8. Junkyard says:

Could someone explain the title to me? I’m not sure it’s even a sentence. TIA.

  9. crzy says:

Or…time to plead and beg for my grade by pretending that I’ve been hideously sick the entire semester and THAT’s why I never showed up to class.

    worse, it totally worked.
