hey now! it’s a love-it/hate-it profession, i’ll give you that.
i’m on the love-it side (accounting major with a job lined up as an auditor next year, and yes, i will be making excellent money for my first year out, and yes, i really do like what my job will be)…so i might be a little biased…
businesses need good auditors and tax accountants to serve them, not to mention internal auditors and other accounting professionals/controllers/CFO’s. the intro classes teach you nothing compared to the rest of the classes you take as an acco major
just providing the other side of life!
it’s a love-it/hate-it profession. if you don’t find it useful, the people who do end up doing the work will. i’m on the love-it side, seeing as i’m an accounting major with an auditing job lined up for next year (yes, it is good money)…so i guess i’m biased, but it really is one of those things you have to REALLY like to do it for a lifetime

Does your teacher double as an art education teacher? Because I learned the same stuff about curricula, content standards, budgeting and not being an art teacher, too.
It’s not just art. I learned many a’things in college about not being various professions. Something’s fishy. :-S

Would just like to point out that your graph is incorrectly titled. Standard format is “[y-axis] vs. [x-axis]“, so your graph should read “Importance vs What I Learned in Accounting Class
