  1. Hell Hath No Fury says:

ahhh….this is up there with ‘chances I’ll run into the only huge stump in the middle of Farmer McDonald’s 5769857985 acre field while joyriding in my dad’s brand new truck’

  2. Jenni says:

surey an argument for not letting kids tidy up. becasue theyll never get ALL of the toys.

  3. Curious says:

    Hilarius! I LOLed!

  4. ND says:

Chances it will be the loudest, most obnoxious toy they own, and also the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping: 100%.

  5. Amethyst says:

My toddler is CONSTANTLY dragging ONE toy into the kitchen to leave right behind me. This is when I’m doing something selfish like making dinner. I always trip.

  6. Defiant says:

If we analyze the situation in further detail, we will discover that the implications are reasonable. Logically, one would be more careful of the toys if there are many of them, and thus would take steps to avoid them (pun intended). If there is only one toy, it will undoubtedly be missed by the subject’s perception, likely resulting in a swift crash to the floor.

  7. graphgrammarchecker says:

Now THIS should be a line graph…

  8. brrrad says:

Brilliant. Thanks for giving me a laugh.

  9. LT says:

This even has a logical explanation (though the likelihood may be a bit exaggerated, natch): if you see a bunch of toys on the floor, you’ll probably step carefully to avoid tripping. If there’s only one it’s likely enough that you won’t notice it until you’ve stepped on it.
