Hilarious! Loved it & like others said, a well made graph with good use of units (especially on the y-axis). Nice & symmetrical too. Hope that’s not a reflection on how my old age will be like.
My mom drives like the retirement home group & is scary. She has her seat all the way back & drives with her toes just reaching the pedals. If she had to hit the brake hard, she’d never be able to. But then, she wouldn’t be able to react fast enough anyway. She also prefers to take back roads everywhere since traffic lights make her nervous. ??? SHE makes me nervous & I won’t ride with her unless I drive.
Actually I’ve noticed a lot of really expensive sports cars driving the speed limit or lower, and then when I see who is driving, I realize why, it’s some dude in his 40′s – 50′s who is having a midlife crisis, but can’t really handle the speeds.
I drove relatively close to the speed limit when I got my license. Now, 6 years later, I drive more like a maniac. “I’m a good driver, just not a safe driver.”
As teen, I drove fast until I got my first ticket. Now that Im in my 20′s and living in the inner city, I’ve replaced speed with being pushy and aggressive.
look at me, I’m an idiot! FIRST!
first
Fail…
DIE. Now, who wants ice cream?
this one is funny
OMG! Somebody actually knows how to make a proper graph! Congratulations. Funny, too!
Of course, if you’re in Tennessee, you’ll have to double all posted limits. Or halve them.
That is possibly the truest statement I’ve ever read.
Old people drive slow. Hahaha. Very original.
That wasn’t the only joke in there… and it’s true anyway
Not necessarily true, my Grandad drives like a maniac.
Mine swerves because he likes to go sightseeing as he drives. I avoid his car.
…then when someone /else/ goes over the yellow line, they point it out.
Good graph, intelligently made, fairly original, good color, accurate, fun to read.
WIN!!
This is truth, both for me, my mother, my father, my nana and my boyfriend. I must agree!
I have a couple questions for you.
Where did you learn to count?
pwnt
Finally a graph that’s full of WIN!

Or they’re afraid to damage that horribly expensive car they can’t actually afford.

i have the same problem as K2M.
but nice graph. so true.
in my experience, that last column needs to be taller than all the others.
lol minivan/kids
while on the subject, my sister’s schoolbus driver belongs to the 1st license group. I’m surprised those kids aren’t in the hospital .. yet

Nice graph.
if you live in massachusets your going to half to triple those limits
i fall in to the first time driving catagory.
Does a negative driving speed indicate that you are in fact going in reverse? ^_^
It’s not negative speed, it’s plus or minus the speed limit. As in, that amount above or below the speed limit, depending on the value of the bar.
So no, not in reverse. Graph reading fail.
Hey. Your website is messed around with Lynx
