i miss the travel channel, (shut off my cable as a social experiment… or more, an experiment at being social…) I do agree however that when there’s nothing better on TV, there’s nothing but fricken Poker on…

Since Bizarre Foods does travel to some places I would actually like to go I have a vision of a pie chart with a Venn circle taking up space in the Places I Actually Want to Visit.
SO TRUE! And a few years ago, the travel channel became like the Las Vegas channel. Even sin city gets old when you play it 20 hours/day.
I can usually count on The Travel Channel to have something worth watching every so often.
But that is true about Sam Brown. She probably has one of the best jobs in the world.
They could turn that channel into the 24-hour Bourdain/Zimmern Experience and I’d be happy as a crispy roasted pig.
Then again, it looks like they’re going that route lately, so hey, WIN!

Somone should do a similar graph about the Weather Channel, divided up between actual weather reporting, disaster epics and pointless yammering.
Or in a Californians case, weather on the east coast.
The best channel is the History Channel. I love the 3d dogfight show and future weapons.
