Absolutely spot on. My birthday was on Saturday. The last time I’d gotten any substantial postings on my wall was exactly one year previously.
Everyone crawls out of the woodwork on your Birthday. If only they’d just stay there. I’d rather that over the fake lemming-like posts of “Happy Birthday”.

Honestly? This is the very reason I hide my birthday from my profile the week before, and put it back once it’s over. That way, only the people who -actually- know me are giving me birthday wishes.
That’s a good idea… I think I’m-a rip that off. lol Especially since I almost ALWAYS end up with one birthday wish from someone I only added because I went to high school with them and thus hate them ‘with the fire of a thousand suns’. lol
This is why I change my birthday every few weeks. Makes me feel like I have friends.

This is posted on my wall today, being it is my birthday! So appropriately funny!
Happy Birthday!
Last year, I started changing my facebook birthday to “Tomorrow” everyday since about a month before my birthday (e.g. Today = February 24th, Facebook says Birthday = February 25th, and so on for a month).
I got a lot of wall posts, many of them repeated posts from the same people wishing me happy birthday on different days. After a few weeks some people caught on and got confused. Much fun.

Never mind. It would work as either a bar graph plotting activity, or as a pie chart, with two slices for wall activity as a whole.
