  1. RJ says:

Very nice. And I can’t wait until someone takes it serious. That way I can laugh at the ‘graph’ and at them. Double the funny.

  2. Rodrigo Fernandez says:

How many more of these are we getting?

  3. SmashBrosLawl says:

    We’re all gonna die.

    • Tom Trifik says:

      NO!
      I refuse to believe that!
We will not die, it will be far far worse a fate for us.
Instead, I propose that when the black hole is created, we will be doomed to fall into it, in agony, for all eternity.

That way God can use us and our arrogance as an example to the rest of the universe.

      • Jefoid says:

The event horizon of a black hole of planetary mass will be much too small to produce the “fly in amber” effect you are proposing. Should you be “fortunate” enough to be killed by the black hole itself (rather than the associated destruction of the earth) You would be ripped apart sequentially as the tiny hole moved through you. Perhaps like being squeezed through a small funnel. If it were earlier in the process it would just drill a hole through you. You would not likely have time to contemplate your arrogance.

      • Nikos says:

And what of the arrogance of those who claim they can understand god, know god’s opinion of man’s actions and god’s need or desire to set an “example to the rest of the universe”? What eternal agony should they be subjected to?

    • Freddie says:

Sure we are, but not from the LHC.

  4. Ackroyd says:

You’re not supposed to let the beams cross!!!

  5. Neil says:

    Funny. Love it!

  6. Large Hardon Collider says:

    This is a sexy graph

  7. Alaina says:

Black holes are full of awesome

  8. bspinky says:

omg there’s a black hole on my screen! *panic*

  9. plaster says:

Come on. Even if it creates a black hole, or a couple of black holes – it will take hours before they get anything larger than a protone, and days before it goes the size of a molecule.
You need much more than that to have a problem… Like, a planet, for starters.

  10. BoredScienceFan says:

The LHC may actually create many tiny black holes, this has been acknowledged, but they are so minuscule that they pop out of existence mere moments later. The reports that black holes will “SWALLOW OUR EARTH OH NOEZ” are, however, absurd.

  11. wes says:

I think someone should schedule a surprise hannah montana concert in france on oct 21

  12. LadyGunn says:

Why would the Long Hair Community create a black hole? We might make a really large hairball, but a black hole… mmm, I don’t think so…

(Yes, I belong to an online long hair community & that’s my first thought whenever I see ‘LHC’… *grin*)

  13. Kuromisa says:

Who cares? The world’s going to end in 2012, anyway.

  14. Jujube says:

While I think the graph is pretty funny (like the other LHCs), what I find even more amusing is people’s ignorance & their comments. I love reading the comments & get a bigger laugh from the worried responders than anything else. Yes, I’m making fun of ignorance & stupidity.

  15. This Is My Name says:

    lmao..
    i agree with SmashBrosLawl

  16. randomdude420 says:

    moo!

  17. Wownik says:

Create a black hole? Not a chance. I thinks its more likely we create a second universe. Which would be cool too.

  18. biloba says:

okay so some scientists say there is the possibility of up to 3 billion habitable planets in our galaxy alone.

maybe this is why we haven’t met anyone else yet, they all get this advanced then “POP” vanish into a black hole.

    go LHC go

  19. LIGHTPIE7 says:

XD, there was a cartoon about the LHC.

They made a big deal about how it might destroy the world. Then, when they pulled the switch to activate it, it worked perfectly.

Then they decided to destroy the world anyway by switching it on and off repeatedly.

  20. CheezburgerFanatic says:

The geniuses at CERN should be ashamed of themselves for dividing by zero!
