How is “still haven’t found what we’re looking for” what we’re looking for? That doesn’t make sense.
That occurred to me too.
I still can’t find those damn droids, either.
I LOL’ed.
I laughed too, which made my hot and sour soup come out my nose. And then I cried, because hot and sour soup should NEVER come into contact with your sinuses. (In case y’all didn’t know.)
I’m sorry, and I know this makes me sound like a grammar nazi, but the title of the graph should be ‘For what are we looking’. Again, sorry, but I’m surrounded by people that insist on ending sentences in prepositions all day long and it begins to grate.
Feel free to pick apart my posting for any errors, by the way. I’ve had several drinks (which may explain why I bothered to post in the first place) and probably made more than a few of them.
Well, for some reason, they changed that grammar rule. Probably because no one was adhering to it. We (I’m a language arts teacher) no longer teach children not to end sentences with a preposition.
I still sneak it in, though, because people should know how to speak correctly…
