Also, thanks for posting the youtube video. It’d been a while since I’d seen the movie. I find it ironic that the CIA funded the movie, since Orwell was criticizing American capitalism in the book, almost as much as Bolshevism.

Oh, and was I the only one that thought of PETA and the rabid anti-Vick crowd when I first saw this graph? lol

Great book. I love allegories. Especially political allegories. Does anyone know who Boxer represented? I remember from class that he represented someone specific, but all I get on-line is some fuzzy generality, like “Dedicated, but tricked communist supporters.” I remember the person that I had heard was a general, who was a war hero (possibly Leningrad, but don’t quote me on that), who was trotted out for a while as a symbol of the good in Bolshevism, but then quietly gotten rid of, probably in a purge. My memory is fuzzy…

I swear, it would be way better if only the number of legs was on the y-axis and “good” and “bad” were on the x-axis. As it is, that’s just poor mathematics.
Animal Farm ftw tho. That was my favorite book in seventh grade.
