  1. Spazz says:

    It’s funny because it’s TRUE!

  2. faetal says:

The same can be said for all locations… not just LA… or California for that matter. And they ought to add a wedge for “People who wanted the Tax Credit”

  3. jimbob says:

    AMEN!!

  4. jdotcole says:

    Word to this.

  5. LightDisciple says:

    You forgot Jeff Dunham.

  6. EmEffSee says:

This is definitely true for Long Island people as well. Its my favorite when you are driving behind one and they are throwing stuff out the window.

  7. R says:

Who cares how trendy they are if it is eventually helping the environment? I’d much prefer people were being trendy in a way that helped things than buying a new 300 pair of heels every season.

  8. woo says:

You could have the same for 4WDs anywhere in Australia.

People who actually live on properties that need a fourbie-0.1%
Douchebags who have some kind of penile dysfuntion and need to compensate by making everybody else on the road fear for their lives-99.9 %

  9. Ogg says:

Too bad the prius actually does more harm to the enviroment..

  10. KP says:

    Hahaha, nice!

  11. 216 says:

It’s pretty ironic because a bunch of trendy bastards also drive hummers. Me? I drive a bucket!

  12. AK says:

Why would you own a car that has TWO engines? Why not ONE efficient gas engine?

…and what about when your precious batteries need to be recycyled?

Pffffft. Toyota “Pious” is more like it.

  13. MK says:

What happens when a fruitcake driving a gold prius covered with glitter carrying a trunk full of vinegar crashes into an investment banker in a red prius with flames on the sides carrying a trunk full of water?

  14. Scivi says:

The problem with this graph is, “caring for the enviornment” is trendy. Not so much really caring for the environment, but “I care for the environment.”

  15. Thinkerer says:

Doesn’t this graph describe nearly everyone in L.A., Prius owner or otherwise?

  16. Sylderon says:

Well, considering Los Angeles has a higher-than-average concentration of trendy douchebags, I think your survey is just a wee bit skewed.

  17. Your Mom says:

For every hybrid car I see, I’m gonna let my car idle in the driveway for 20 minutes. For every reusable shopping bag I see, I’m gonna ask them to double-bag my groceries. And for every public recycle bin I see, I’m gonna dump the contents into the nearest trash can.

  18. ausrick says:

My ’98 Corolla averages 33 mpg and cost me 3k so saving money WIN!

and though it may not be the best on emissions… you could say I recycle. :)

And smug…. there is absolutely NO smug output on my car… more like people may ask if I live with my mum output.

  19. DieNarrin says:

So… how does the used battery affect the environment?? Isn’t a Prius as bad as all those flourescent light bulbs we can’t throw away?

  20. Some Guy says:

Up north in the silicon valley, most of the Prius owners have them because they’re cool gadgets. That, and they like the fact that they’re very quiet. Better for listening to your iPod.

  21. kayleepuppy says:

mebbe the prius douchebags and the hummer douchebags should get together and have babies.

  22. Putin says:

Of course you forget to mention that people who tend to whine most about the environment tend to be trendy douchebags. See Hollywood

  23. =P says:

I think they forgot the “Guys who work with puppets and have 3lb chihuahuas” category ;)

…I can’t see a prius without thinking of Jeff Dunham

  24. jim says:

    and larry david…
