  1. Lolnathan says:

Colors are wrong. Command is gold, Science is blue, Operations is RED SHIRT.

  2. bugwitch says:

Most people just know that the one’s in Red are the one’s that don’t last long. Half a win!

  3. LooseChanj says:

This graph is not actually accurate.

    Data Segmentation:
However, we need to segment the overall mortality (conversion) rate in order to gain the specific information that we need:

    Yellow-shirt crewperson deaths: 6 (10%)
    Blue-Shirt crewperson deaths: 5 (8 %)
    Engineering smock crewperson deaths: 4
    Red-Shirt crewperson deaths: 43 (73%)

  5. fiofasfjfsao says:

The person who made this graph should have just used the colors, without providing a key, it would have been funnier

  6. fiofasfjfsao says:

Not a bad graph, still funny!

  7. TOS Nerd says:

I love the topic—I’m so relieved that there are more graphs that don’t have to do with music!

BUT COME ON THIS IS ORIGINAL STAR TREK YOU’RE DEALING WITH–this is like going to a Star Wars convention and telling people how dramatic of a character you find Jar Jar Binks to be.

Get it right if you’re gonna take the time to make the graph!

  8. LOTRinger says:

God, I laughed so hard I fell off my chair. Awesome graph! So, how many Conventions have you been to?

  9. pegataur says:

“Aren’t you wearing the wrong color?”
“In this time period, command wore gold, engineers wore red . . .”
    “And women wore less.”

    Name that episode!

  10. Guess Again says:

I feel the wonderous energy of fellow nerdom….ahhhhhhhhhhh……let it flow….

  11. Francine Dubois says:

Spock is in the wrath of Pon Farr, the time of mating. Spock’s designated mate, T’Pring, has invoked the rite of Kal’if’fee, forcing Spock and Kirk to fight to the death for the right to impregnate her. But neither of them die, because neither of them are wearing red shirts.

    Duh.

  12. Dave says:

I do not think this video goes with the graph, should have been a video of redshirts getting killed.

  13. Infernape1 says:

does it really matter what colour they are?
