Believe me I know how hard it is to click two buttons to install software. It is soo confusing. When it asked where to install the software I was like gosh, that’s a little too complex for me. You fail at using a simple device.
Negative. You wouldn’t believe the trouble I had installing the Zune software on Vista. I mean, it’s only their flagship OS…
Installing it was easy enough, but signing up for an account took like 2 hours
Funny, but not true. Turned out to be easy to do all of this… my wife can’t use our TV remote, but she can use her Zune.
Same here! It’s a nice picture based syncing software that my wife is able to rip her CD’s, and organize her pictures, and music with. She would never be able to get the hang of iTunes.

i love my zune more than any of my bf’s ipods. the only thing ive ever encountered problems with at all is the podcasts – but those are third party and really wernt worth mentioning i guess.

Don’t think that because I made this graph that I don’t like the Zune. I still think it’s better than a crappy ipod. Now that I have it set up it’s easy to work with. Just thought I’d make a contribution to the site.

I’ve had it happen to the iPod buds I have. It’s really annoying, so I made myself rap them around a notecard when I’m not using them.
I’ve had a zune since a few months after launch, the price was all ready much lower than launch. It works fine, simple as all hell to install, update firmware, sync music, the only real issue i’ve ever had with it is, none of the damn fm transmitters work at any usable distance(unless you mod them). but you know if you want to hate on the zune, by all means go ahead. . .gotta hate something.

I gave it a 3 because it’s a bit funny but would have been better served with “MP3 Player”.

I have a Zune, and I actually really like the software. I think it’s pretty easy to use. It’s true that converting videos to the correct format takes forever, but honestly I don’t spend that much time watching videos on it.
And who has the time to reply to people’s comments using those people’s names so it looks like they’re insulting themselves? That’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen.
This is all relative to how often he uses the Zune, he could just listen to music for nanoseconds…

ok i own a zune and its a peice of crap. It freezes and skips. And ya the whole sending music thing, lasts only 3 days…..i wish i could trade my paper weight zune in for any other mp3 player …..

I am now on my 3rd Zune since November– my Zunes have spent more time on FedEx trucks and sitting in the Zune shop than in my house. Ridiculous.

Hey internet, I can fully assure you on many levels that if you’re not retarded Zunes are better, you wanna’ argue now.
You forgot a few sections:
Getting ticked that it’s not compatible with iTunes
Wanting to throw it out the window
So what conversion of video format was it that was needed. Insofar all of the formats i have wanted to use were compatible. the only one that wasn’t was quicktime which if you have quicktime installed on your computer you may want to get a new computer so your directory is actually clean from ghostlike ram hogging apps

Now everyone stop. It is broken down to a simple statement, Microsoft fails whereas macintosh does not. Therefore, zune fails and iPod reigns dominant. Is there a zune touch, or a zune phone… Nope.
But is there a iPod Phone? I didn’t think so- just and iPhone. But is there a zPhone? NO!
The headphones part made me lol. I spend way too much time untangling stupid headphones, and it makes me say the F word, a lot.
Most of that pie chart should be “Trying to get album details/art correct”.
I thought it was a cute observation about one person’s experience with their mp3 player. I saw nothing in the chart stating an opinion about their particular model, just an amusing observation.
If it’s an argument over which is better, they all have issues. I’ve never owned an IPod simply because I refuse to become a lemming. I have, however, owned a Rio Karma, a Creative Zen Vision M-30, and a Creative Zen flash player. All have been great with minimal hangups, but no machine is perfect. I will point out that there aren’t as many “lock-ups” with flash players simply because a flash drive is less sensitive to movement and impact. All players have some issues, all have a percentage of problem players that get sent out to the public only to be sent back for service, and all have customer service issues. It is the nature of people to be more vocal when there’s a problem than to be complimentary when there’s none.
i actually kind of hate the zune software. not necessarily installation–it just gets on my nerves.

yeah, i love my zune, once i was finally able to get the program to load on my laptop still running xp. as for my desktop running vista, i still can’t get it to work, 8 months after the fact.

He he, Zune = Microsofts copy of iPod. They even look the same! Can microsoft seriously not come up with a single original thought? Look at their adds now even. “I’m a PC “, now where have I heard that before..
And not only this, but Zune had a retarded programing error which caused a load of them to malfunction. I’m not gona go into spesifics, but if you’re interested google it.
Oh, and PS. iTunes works fine on a mac computer, no freezing states.
