The longer I live, the more I learn about the one and only Jimi Hendrix. First I found out he was a classic blues-man. I never realized he was a leftie, too. He sure stands up good, for a stoned musician. A friend told me he was always stoned when performing. Maybe I should give it a try!

He was on acid, not pot. People on acid have AMAZING balance. And he was always stoned while playing. 1 hit of acid in each eyebrow
He wasn’t stoned. Ever wondered hy he always wore that headband? He cut his forehead and put hits of acid under the bandanna, he was tripping balls every time he played. That’s also why he set his guitar on fire.
By the way, acid is an amazing drug, in case you ever consider it.

He did it at the Monterey Pop festival which was basically his big US debut – he was trying to show up The Who who played right before him.
…and yes, I mean that he copulated with and then sen his guitar on fire.
…and yes, there’s a video of it. He does it while playing a cover of ‘Wild Thing’.

I read a 500pg biography on him. Apparently someone he dated thought he was saying “kiss this guy”.
