FIRST POST!!!! Airplane!!!!
This is your reason for existing!? You got the first post? I’m glad your life is so full.
Great movie!
I went to go see this in the theater when I was a kid with my brother and cousin. This one guy was sitting across the aisle from us and by the time we were 20 minutes into the movie, he was laughing so hard he almost fell out of his seat. i thought it was a scream, too, but watching it now as an adult is even better!
Except, I think they’ve cut the jello scene out of most copies, though….:-(
They did WHAT???? That’s a classic, you don’t mess with a classic!
I got it on Netflix and the jello scene showed.
I find it funny that some chick was jumping around on camera naked for like 4 seconds, and the movie still got a PG rating.
I can’t count the number of times I have said “I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.” and no one got the joke.
Which as always had the effect of not asking women if they like gladiator movies and following up with asking them if they have ever seen a grown man naked.
It was a great film. I feel bad for not having seen it in 15 years.
We use radios extensively at work and the whole “What’s our vector, Victor” scene gets repeated so often I can quote it in my sleep, lol.
Roger, roger.
What’s our clearance, Clarence?
Abdul Jabar: HUH?
I’m thirteen and I’m already quoting it. But very few people my age have heard about that movie.
I love that movie, and I have my weird friend to blame for it. And now I finally get where my parents’ “drinking problem” jokes came from…
