Possibly the most brilliant graphjam to date!!

  2. Victoria says:

I just feel the need to say:

Thank you for going there. I was getting sick of the rap graphs, about time someone did good music.

  3. Randy says:

  5. lizbiz says:

  7. Kyler says:

And now, VH1′s vote for the worst music video ever: I am the Lolrus.

  8. Lori says:

    Great graph!
But – shouldn’t “we” also be be part of “I” and “he”?
“I am he, as you are he, as you are me, and we are altogher.”
    P.S. lizbiz – I don’t understand flying pigs ref…

    • katie says:

That’s what I was just telling my boyfriend! and WE should be a part of everything… since WE are altogether…

  9. zipper says:

I believe the graph is perfect, given the constraints of two-dimensional space vis-a-vis the lyrics of “I Am The Walrus.”

Note specifically that “I” and “me” are shown as non-intersecting sets. This captures well the mental space of the song.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I haven’t been myself lately…

  10. Platypus says:

    Epic.

  11. Victoria says:

    Dear Lori:

See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly.

    • BBQchipz [NicnamePsycho/eViLmInIoNfAil] says:

See how they fly like Lucy in the sky, see how they run.

      • Fawfulster says:

See how they fly like pigs in a stide, see how they Schnide.

        I’m crying.

        I’m cryyyyyyyyying

        I’m crying

        I’m cryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyiiiing.

  12. parentalunitz says:

I think the recently departed Dr. Hoffman as well as the auteur Mr. Lennon would approve!

  13. Lori says:

Yes, they run…and they fly… but, “they” are not the pigs. Lucy flies, but the pigs don’t ever leave the ground.

The funny thing is, John Lennon wrote these lyrics after hearing that people actually spent time debating the meaning of Beatles songs. He figured that these were so ridiculous, no one would ever try to analyze them!

    • Foxsong says:

And then my second year college English prof had us do exactly that: analyze ‘I Am The Walrus’… ;-)

  14. Cynthia says:

    brilliant! absolutely brilliant!

  15. Ben Thompson says:

Genius. Absolutely everything that graphjam is about.

  16. mtgg says:

    ok … that’s stunningly brilliant

  17. Neil says:

    The greatest thing. ever.

  18. Hannah says:

    Epic win.

  19. jesus says:

    Absolutely Spectacular!!!
except if we are all together shouldnt he be included in “we”

    • Samantha says:

I don’t think they should be connected, as the lyrics state we are all together, not we are all the same. So since “I” and “Me” are both connected to “You”, that still makes them all together, but not one entity.

  20. Azula says:

All of the circles should be placed in one big WE-circle, because we are all together.

  21. Juice says:

It’s great that the Beatles made videos like 15 years before MTV.

  22. Emilie says:

    ….coo coo cachoo.

  23. BBQchipz [NicnamePsycho/eViLmInIoNfAil] says:
